SIEBENROCK COMPL.EXHAUST

Good workmanship, terrific sound, low weight and a perfect performance charac-teristic, were the specifications in the development of Siebenrock SGS2 exhaust systems for the R80 G/S, R80/100 GS and R80/100 R models.
Made from polished stainless steel, the SGS2 variants give the motorbikes from Bavaria an even nobler appearance.
By using a Y-pipe instead of the original collector box, the systems looks very slender and sportive. Because of this construction, it was possible, among other things, to reduce the weight below that in the standard machine by an enormous FIVE kg. In the meantime an oval stainless steel silencer is responsible for the acoustics; it allows the exhaust gases to escape with a sportive and muffled sound. But that is not enough. Innumerable measurements were needed till the perfect curve on the diagrams could be obtained. It was exactly the revs midrange that could be so improved that there was no longer any talk of a dropout but one could confidently speak of a massive increase in power and torque.
The SGS2 systems are supplied with all necessary attachment parts and an ABE that is valid for the whole of Europe. The fitting is easily carried out thanks to very simple clamp and spring mountings. The use of the SGS2 systems restricts in no way the mounting of the original luggage systems.
The exhaust systems fit the listed unmodified vehicles and is highly recommended for vehicles which are fitted with Siebenrock Power- or Replacement Kits.
Three different exhaust exit versions are available depending on the technical conditions of the vehicles: Middle exhaust pipe path (half-high), lower exhaust pipe path (low exit) and upper exhaust pipe path (high-up).
