LSL® flat superbike handlebar as a fat bar
The classic superbike shape now also as a fat bar. This handlebar evens out annoying bounce and offers considerably greater reserves in extreme situations. The handlebar has less spring and offers more reserves in extreme situations. Made from high-quality aluminium (2014 T6 - with extreme flexural strength) in the flat superbike shape. This handlebar tapers conically (diameter: 28.5 mm) from the clamping area to the ends, which means that resistance to deformation is virtually doubled. Available in a variety of colours with an elegant sand-blasted look.
The diameter at the outer edges is 22 mm. Appropriate clamps for installing the handlebar should be ordered separately. Includes TÜV component test certificate valid for Germany for the models listed below. For the purpose of individual test centre approval (e.g. TÜV, Dekra) you can, of course, mount the handlebar and clamps on other models with suitable mountings and have the modification recorded in the vehicle documents. Note: Aftermarket handlebars are supplied without a hole for securing the switch unit. Positioning varies depending on the bike model. Drilling into the handlebar for securing purposes is permitted: First, ensure that your new handlebar is optimally aligned with the bike. Try out the positioning of the switch units, making sure that they do not hit the tank when the handlebar is fully turned. Mark the securing hole and drill the handlebar to the right diameter. To make sure that the drill doesn't slip on the smooth handlebar tube, or if you are prone to mistakes when centre punching or somehow not drilling straight, you should use the LSL® drilling jig, Order no. 10005264 (see bottom of picture). This is the sure way to avoid such mistakes.
