Ilmberger valve cover, right and left
- The carbon valve cover for the BMW R 1200 GS (LC) is screwed to existing mounting points on the vehicle.
- The valve covers complement the vehicle and provide additional protection from damage.
- The parts are assembled using original mounting points. In accordance with the latest guidelines, the carbon part is manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material using an autoclave. Then, as is usual for us, it is given a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences.
- This plastic coating is far superior to the clear lacquers normally used in terms of the level of protection, scratch-resistance and durability.
- But it is not only the technical specifications of the coating that are outstanding. It also accentuates the three-dimensional look of the carbon structure.
