Procycle Silicone Brake Fluid DOT 5

Procycle Silicone Brake Fluid DOT 5 is a high-performance product specially developed for the requirements of hydraulic motorcycle braking systems (drum & disc brakes). It ensures outstanding braking performance at all times for maximum safety.

Special ingredients protect the internal components of the braking system against deposits and corrosion, and provide optimum continuous lubrication of all seals. Procycle silicone-based brake fluid has a significantly longer service life than conventional brake fluids because it is non-hygroscopic (does not absorb water). It will not damage paintwork, polished aluminium, chrome or plastic parts.

• Wet boiling point approx. 180°C
• Non-hygroscopic

IMPORTANT: Never mix DOT 5 brake fluid with conventional glycol-based brake fluids with DOT 3, 4 or 5.1 specifications. Danger!

Good to know:
This brake fluid is specified for use in Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles with OEM braking system manufactured between roughly 1976 and 2004/2005 (Important: Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's specifications!)

Even DOT 5 silicone brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air, but does not bind it. Therefore DOT 5 silicone must be changed regularly, like other brake fluids.

DOT 5 silicone is not suitable for vehicles with ABS braking systems!
