PROTECTIVE VICE JAWS

The vice jaws are the most stressed component of the vice. This is where the workpiece is clamped and machined. Often strong damages occur by hammer blows as well as cut marks by sawing and grinding work. But also on workpieces with sensitive surfaces, as well as thin-walled tubes, unattractive impressions of the roughened original clamping jaws often occur.

The protective jaws from BGS create relief and protect both the vice clamping jaw area and the clamped workpiece from damage.

Rubberized jaws are particularly suitable for clamping thin-walled tubes as they offer additional slip resistance. However, the tube is not deformed and no marks are left behind. As well as for clamping workpieces with painted, polished or chrome-plated surfaces,
