- The one-piece carbon engine spoiler for the BMW S 1000 R is made from special high-temperature prepreg carbon material and is designed for use in conjunction with the OEM exhaust system (OEM pre-silencer).
- To fit the engine spoiler, you require the holder kit with Order no. 10009782
- This kit contains the necessary brackets complete with screws and quick-release fasteners.
- The key features are weight saving (usually approx. 70% lighter than the OEM component) and greater rigidity.
- In accordance with the latest guidelines, the carbon part is manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material using an autoclave. Then, as usual with our products, it is given a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences.
- This plastic coating is far superior to the usual clear lacquers in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability.
- But it is not only the technical specifications of the coating that are outstanding. It also accentuates the three-dimensional look of the carbon structure.
