And here's how the Nivomat system works.
More weight on your motorcycle means that conventional suspension sinks lower and important spring travel is lost. When you carry heavy luggage, a pillion passenger, or even both together, the ride height, geometry and road safety are anything but optimal. Wilbers LDC Nivomat Suspension Struts put an end to this problem by pumping additional hydraulic fluid into the cylinder by means of their own vertical movements, after you have travelled just a few metres. This increases the hydraulic pressure so that not only the level is adapted but also the spring rate and shock absorption.
