KERN-STABI PADDOCK STAND

Kern-Stabi has the *X518* adapter and mounting stand for front and rear in its range especially for the BMW R18 motorbikes. Whenever your BMW R18 needs to stand up straight, in your garage or on a lift table, it's no big deal with the *X518*. You position the *X518* centrally under your vehicle from the right, fit the front pin, take the lever on the left side, place it on the holder next to the left lifting wheel and set the R18 upright. With the front wheel straight, pull the lever up and first bring the vehicle to a standstill and then continue to lift the R18 off the ground. Then insert the front wheels of the adapter into the frame using a quick-release axle and jack them up with the lever as you did at the rear. Done. This way both wheels are in the air and a lift table can be pushed underneath centrally.
This also makes it easy to manoeuvre the vehicle in confined spaces. Alternatively, and in the simplest way, manoeuvring and turning through 360 degrees can also be achieved without the use of a lift table by using the Kern-Stabi *X518R2* manoeuvring set (10077011).
