The hatchet is a very useful, durable piece of equipment for camping and leisure. Ideal for splitting small logs to make kindling for your camp fire, barbecue or fireplace, but it can also handle somewhat larger timber without any problem thanks to its solid design and 600 g blade. In contrast with hatchets which have a wood handle, the flat end of the head can be used for knocking in nails or tent pegs.
